Canelo Alvarez was amused by Kamaru Usman’s manager Ali Abdelaziz who claimed that the P4P best boxer is afraid to fight his client
The outlandish Ali Abdelaziz is one of the most polarizing figures in MMA today. Although people might dislike him, its no doubt that he’s always worked tirelessly towards providing his fighters with the best deals and fights.
Ali Abdelaziz blasted the P4P best boxer in the world for fighting no-name fighters, and ducking Kamaru Usman. He posted out a tweet saying, ‘@Canelo is an absolute chicken, he is fighting guys with 5000 followers on Instagram, these guys will never do nothing for his legacy. Now I understand why he doesn’t wanna lose to someone like @USMAN84kg this is chicken style, no risk – no reward.’
The superstar boxer reacted to Ali’s claim and outrageous comments by saying, ‘ ‘ Who the fu**is this ?’
Ali went on to reply by saying that the Mexican has been ducking GGG for 2 years now, just like he’s shutting down talks of a fight against Usman. ‘You know who I am, you know what’s the difference between you and @USMAN84kg ? You’ve been ducking GGG for 2 years now, but Kamaru have fought everybody UFC threw at him. I’m being very nice to you, because it’s Ramadan.’
“Usman beats Masvidal 10 out of 10 times” – Kamaru Usman’s manager Ali Abdelaziz hits back at Jorge Masvidal after he claimed that he is not a legitimate striker
Masvidal made an appearance on the latest episode of ‘Impaulsive‘ podcast with Logan Paul where he discussed about his devastating loss to Colby Covington, his future plans and the champion Kamaru Usman.
While speaking about Usman he said that the pound for pound number one fighter is beatable, and his striking is average. He also believes that he wobbled Usman briefly during their rematch and he just got complacent that led to the knockout.
Masvidal’s claim that Usman is not a legit striker did not sit well with his manager, who clapped back on Twitter. Ali is known to be thicker than blood with his clients, and accompanies them during fight camps, weight cuts and the actual fight.
A Renzo Gracie jiu-jitsu black belt himself, Ali replied to this assertion on Twitter by saying, ‘ I believe Kamaru is the best striker and the best wrestlers in the UFC, and if they fight 10 times he will beat him 10 times. I always say it, there is elite fighters and there is good fighters, there is levels to this.’
