John Gotti III made his MMA debut on the 27th of October, 2017 at CES 46: Howard vs Carroll, an event under Classic Entertainment and Sports promotion. It is worth noting that CES has been airing its events live on UFC Fight Pass since January 2019.
He started off with a win over Johnny Adams – a first-round win via TKO.
Several months later Gotti III earned a 32-second finish over Eddie Haws at CES NY:1 to go 2-0 up in his MMA career (as a welterweight).
In November 2018, Gotti III finished Josh Zuckerman in round 1, to earn his third successive victory.
Almost a year later, on the 31st of May, 2021, yet another first-round win, this time against David Espino, saw him rise up the ranks.
His fight against Marcos Lloreda at CES MMA 60 was tougher than he would have expected it to be. However, he still ended up getting the W – via. unanimous decision.
Gotti III’s winning streak was finally snapped by Nick Alley in the main event of CES MMA 61, on the 14th of October, 2020. Alley outstruck Gotti III to earn a unanimous decision win.

But, there is more to Gotti III’s life and family background. Only a few in the entire world would have a prominent family background like Gotti III has.
He is the son and grandson of two of the most influential gangsters/mobsters in the history of the United States. Gotti III was born on the 2nd of November, 1992.

MMA fighter John Gotti III is the grandson of the late John Gotti. Gotti was born on the 27th of October, 1940 in the Bronx.
Growing up in poverty, Gotti would have never imagined that he would become one of the most famous gangsters in history.
At the age of 45, Gotti took over what was then considered to be America’s most powerful crime syndicate – Gambino Crime Family.
The taking over of Gotti in itself was a chilling act. He had orchestrated the murder of then-leader Paul Castellano in December 1985.
He was the boss of the Gambinos until his much-publicized arrest in 1992. During his tenure, he was convicted for several criminal charges, notably – murder, racketeering, tax evasion, illegal gambling, loansharking and extortion.
Gotti was known for his dapper appearance – expensive clothes. This gave rise to the nickname ‘The Dapper Don’ which later evolved to ‘The Teflon Don’ following his acquittal in high-profile cases.
Following his arrest, Gotti spent most of his time in prison, until he died in 2002 due to throat cancer.
During Gotti’s absence, his son John A. Gotti took over as the acting boss of the Gambino family from 1993 to 1999. He is no more a gangster.
