Women’s MMA star Kayla Harrison earned a comfortable win over Taylor Guardado at PFL 10
Kayla Harrison came up with the goods once again. The women’s MMA star was up to her best at PFL 10.
Harrison took on Taylor Guardado in the 2021 women’s lightweight tournament final. Having beaten Genah Fabian in the semifinals, Harrison was brimming with confidence.
And, as expected, she earned a submission win via. an armbar in only the second round of the fight.
Harrison also won the 2021 women’s lightweight tournament and the coveted $1 million prize money.
She is currently 12-0 in her MMA career, and has hardly even been troubled so far.
Twitter rushed to congratulate Harrison on her victory. While many suggested that she should try UFC, a few also debated over how a fight between her and UFC double champ Amanda Nunes would pan out.
Here are some of the Twitter reactions:
Kayla Harrison’s fight against Taylor Guardado at PFL 10 was the last in her PFL contract. She is currently a free agent, and probably one of the, if not, the most wanted free agent right now.
Although she has spoken about joining the UFC, UFC President Dana White’s reluctance to sign her up has been the talking point over the last couple of days.
While Harrison has challenged White about becoming the GOAT of women’s MMA, it remains to be seen if she could walk the talk.
