“My goodness Young Bull” – PFL allegedly misunderstands LeBron James’ Tweet following Ray Cooper III’s win at PFL 10

Ray Cooper III produced a stunning performance at PFL 10, against Magomed Magomedkerimov

Ray Cooper delivered a brilliant comeback win over Magomed Magomedkerimov at PFL 10 to win the PFL 2021 Welterweight Championship.

After having been dominated by the Russian in the first two rounds, Cooper struck Magomedkerimov with a brilliant overhand right and followed it up with ground strikes to get the job done.

Cooper also exacted revenge over Magomedkerimov, against whom he had lost back in December 2018.

He was widely lauded for his performance, and what caught everyone’s eye LeBron James’ Tweet at the same time of the fight.

James tweeted:

“My goodness Young Bull! With the left too.”

A number of MMA fans thought LBJ was referring to Ray Cooper III (known as Young Bull). However, James was referring to Colin Sexton’s dunk during the game – Cleveland Cavaliers vs New York Clippers.

PFL’s official Twitter handle too allegedly thought James was referring to Cooper, although it is not clear if they were self-aware of the James’ Tweet and quote tweeted it just for the sake of promotion.
