Are you waiting for the Modern Warfare 2 Season 3 Reloaded? Here are all the details that you need to know about it.
Exciting news for Call of Duty fans as Modern Warfare 2 Season 3 Reloaded is just around the corner. This mid-season update promises to bring a plethora of new content to the multiplayer experience, including a new 6v6 map and two new fully automatic handguns: FTAC Siege and GS Magna. Additionally, the Throwing Star becomes a lethal part of the arsenal. Here is everything you need to know about Modern Warfare 2 Season 3 Reloaded, including the official release date.
Get your calendars ready, as Modern Warfare 2 Season 3 Reloaded is set to launch on May 10, 2023. As is customary for Call of Duty updates, it will be released on a Wednesday. This update falls right in the middle of Season 3, which lasts nine weeks, making May 10 the perfect date for the mid-season update.
Get ready to add two new fully automatic handguns to your arsenal in Season 3 Reloaded: FTAC Siege and GS Magna.
The FTAC Siege is a highly customizable machine pistol that excels in close-quarters combat. Although it cannot be dual-wielded, it has a plethora of gunsmithing options, including drum magazines, different barrels for better range or mobility, and various muzzles. To unlock this new weapon, you can either complete the Weapon Challenge by getting 50 sidearm hipfire operator kills using handguns or purchase it through a Store Bundle.
On the other hand, the GS Magna is built for raw power and is perfect for taking down enemies in extreme-close ranges. However, this power comes with high recoil, which requires skill to manage. Players who can tame this beast of a sidearm will be handsomely rewarded. To unlock the GS Magna, complete the Weapon Challenge by getting 30 headshot operator kills using the .50 GS or purchase it through a Store Bundle.
Fans of the Throwing Knife will be excited to know that the Throwing Star will be available for all players, all the time. This Lethal offhand armament has a longer range and a higher stock than the Throwing Knife and requires a quick double-tap to kill or one well-placed star to the head. Additionally, non-lethal impacts will inflict a wounding effect, increasing the chance of success on a follow-up hit. To unlock the Throwing Star, complete the Weapon Challenge by getting 50 kills using a Throwing Knife.
Get ready to experience the thrill of the new 6v6 multiplayer map, Alboran Hatchery, in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. This new map is set amidst the beautiful rolling green hills and towering wind farm turbines. It is a medium-sized map with numerous storage and warehouse facilities that provide players with the perfect cover for stealth operations. You can also climb to upper vantage points to have a better view of the surrounding area.
Explore Alboran Hatchery’s storage and warehouse facilities while utilizing large cover objects for stealth operations, and balance your exposure with intel-gathering to gain an advantage in this highly coordinated fight. Alboran Hatchery is available in featured playlists throughout Season 03 Reloaded, as well as in the Quick Play map pool.
Join Price, Farah, and Alex in their quest to find Hadir and the missing warhead in the latest episode of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Raid series. In Raid Episode 03, you’ll explore a Soviet base and descend into a massive pit to navigate old train tunnels and electrically charged waters. The stakes are high, and every minute counts as you work to stop the enemy and complete the mission.
Complete Raid Episode 03 to unlock Alex as an Operator, who can be used in both Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2.0 online modes. You can also earn unique electrified and classified area weapon camos by completing the episode on Veteran difficulty.
Show off your skills and mastery with the Trophy Hunt Camo Challenges in Season 03 Reloaded. In this event, players can unlock two new sets of weapon camouflage by completing different weapon category challenges. Complete all ten challenges to earn a new camo for every weapon category and a special Weapon Charm that shows you have mastered the Reloaded Trophy Hunt.
Here are the challenges for the event:
Are you ready for a challenge? Deploy to Hafid Port in Al Mazrah and take on the cartel’s new operation. But be warned, it won’t be an easy task. Once you’ve eliminated their first line of defense, you’ll need to dig in and defend against multiple waves of increasingly challenging enemy forces.
To help you in your mission, visit the Shop and purchase power-ups like AI Reinforcements, Killstreaks, and the Self-Revive Kit. These will bolster your defenses and give you an advantage against the enemy. But remember, you’ll have to earn these power-ups through your efforts in battle.
For every successful mission, you will be rewarded with Special Ops Stars. These stars can be used to level up your Kits and unlock exclusive items, giving you an edge in future battles. Keep earning those stars and become a true Special Ops master.
In addition to the Special Ops mission, there are other challenges to take on. In Giant Infection and Faceoff, you’ll team up with other survivors to take on the infected. The larger Battle Maps will support a greater number of players, making the battle even more intense.
For Call of Duty veterans, Infinity Ward has brought back Faceoff as the ultimate compliment to Gunfight. Want to use your own Loadouts and play modes like Team Deathmatch and Kill Confirmed on Gunfight maps? Then join the celebration of Faceoff’s return with Reloaded. Expect Faceoff to include all current Gunfight maps, as well as new Gunfight maps once they are released in later seasons.
In Season 3 Reloaded, Kevin Durant joins the ranks as a new Operator in Modern Warfare 2. A Kevin Durant bundle, including two new weapon blueprints, will be up for grabs in the store. Although the bundle cost has yet to be revealed, be sure to keep an eye out for it.
