Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak is the new expansion revealed by Capcom in the most recent Nintendo Direct event. Here is everything you need to know about the expansion pack.
The Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak expansion will be quite similar to the Monster Hunter World Iceborne expansion. The new expansion will have a huge amount of new content and increased difficulty ranks. Monster Hunter fans have been hoping for such an update to be released for Monster Hunter Rise and it looks like they won’t be disappointed. Monster Hunter Rise was in development for four years and was finally released in March 2021. Hopefully, Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak will not take such a long time and we can get our hands on it very soon.
Monster Hunter Rise Release Date
Capcom has revealed some additional details for the Monster Hunter Sunbreak expansion at the Tokyo Game Show Expo 2021. But they haven’t released the official release date for the expansion right now. They will release more updates at regular intervals for the game. But for major new content, we will have to wait for the Sunbreak Expansion. According to the data revealed by Capcom, the Sunbreak expansion is slotted to be released in Summer 2022. The expansion will be released almost one year after the release of the original game. Fans are hoping that the development of the expansion doesn’t take much time and it is released early.
New Monsters in Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak
Capcom has released a trailer that shows some of the new monsters coming to Monster Hunters Rise. The new monsters coming to the game are Malzeno and Shogun Ceanataur
Malzeno
Malzeno, as revealed in the first trailer, is an Elder Dragon who is seen haunting a new location that players will explore in Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak. Many people are wondering if this latest monster will be based on a vampire because of its blood-red wings and bat-like appearance. After all, it was discovered among castle ruins, and we see the monster snatching a Rathalos out of the air by its neck. As we can see from its silhouette on the game’s official logo, this latest addition will be the flagship monster for Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak, similar to Magnamalo in Monster Hunter Rise.
Shogun Ceantaur
This crab-like creature returns from Monster Hunter 2 with long, sharp pincers capable of slicing through even the toughest rocks – and other monsters! We’ve seen Ceanataur stalking cave systems and waterways, so we’re not expecting to see this massive enemy crab out in the open.
Capcom has been silent about the expansion but will reveal more information as we get closer to the release date.
