Epic Games in their traditional way have announced the games for the duration of July 29 to August 5. Mothergunship and Train Sim World 2 will be available to download for free. Defence Grid: The Awakening and Verdun are available for free right now on the Epic Games store.
They will be available till July 29. Let’s dive into the new games which will be available on Epic Games in the next week.
Mothergunship review
Mothergunship is a bullet hell FPS. It is a blend of the FPS and roguelike genres. It is developed by Grip Digital and Terrible Posture Games. As with Tower of Guns, the previous game from the same developer, it features levels that are randomly created, making each playthrough unique.
Every level created will have some familiar elements so that players don’t feel completely out of place. The developers have also added an online co-op mode which was lacking from the first game. This was the most requested feature which the fans have loved.
The game has a gun crafting mechanism which is very essential to the gameplay. Mothergunship features a mix of mindless shooting and strategy which keeps the players on their toes. The game has 72% on Metacritic.
Train Sim World 2 review
This is a classic Train Simulation game. Train Sim World 2 is notable for the player’s ability to exit the train, in order to complete tutorials, scenarios and services. This added feature makes it a different experience from all the other train simulation games available.
Train Sim World 2 has also added two new features- Livery Editor and Scenario Designer. The developers have added new routes and multiple trains. They are also very active in their post-launch support system.
These are two completely opposite games. One is a helly FPS game while the other is a peaceful simulation game. The players can enjoy both these games for free on the Epic Store. They are available to download from July 29 to August 5.
