Predicted Manchester United XI to face Fulham in the Premier League

Manchester United played out an enthralling 2-2 draw against Arsenal at home in the Premier League on Wednesday.

The Red Devils have drawn each of their last three games in the Premier League and they will be desperate to get back to winning ways when they play host to Fulham on Saturday.

Fulham drew 1-1 against Leicester City in the mid-week clash but they will face an uphill battle when they make the trip to Old Trafford on Saturday.

Team News

Luke Shaw and Phil Jones are struggling with knocks and are doubtful to feature on Saturday while Ashley Young will be back in contention after serving a one-game ban for having picked up five yellow cards but Anthony Martial is likely to miss the weekend game due to an injured hamstring. Victor Lindelof and Alexis Sanchez are ruled out with thigh injuries.

Predicted XI

1. David de Gea (GK)

The Spaniard’s basic error led to a goal but he recovered well to make some key saves in the last game.

2. Chris Smalling (CB)

He made his return from injury against Arsenal and fared pretty well in a back three system.

3. Eric Bailly (RCB)

He was the pick of United’s backline in the last game and cleared the ball away more often than not to avoid danger.

4. Marcos Rojo (LCB)

The Argentine international made his first appearance of the season against Arsenal and looked pretty good at the back barring that bizarre moment which led to a goal.

5. Matteo Darmian (LWB)

The Italian looked very confident in a wing-back role against Arsenal and Mourinho should continue to rely on him.

8. Paul Pogba (CM)

9. Jesse Lingard (LAM)

He was a constant threat up front in the last game and should be in high spirits after scoring his first goal of the season.
