It’s based on Rifujin na Magonote’s manga and light novels about someone without a job who gets a second chance in a fantasy world. Storyline

Mushoku Tensei began life as a web novel published between November 2012 and April 2015 on Shosetsuka ni Naro (Let’s Be Novelist) website. Mushoku Tensei Jobless Reincarnation debuted on December 19th 2021 and ran for six episodes until its conclusion on December 19th 2022. Seven Seas’ novels and manga series currently comprise of 23 physical volumes and 17 digital volumes in English; an anime adaptation can also be seen streaming on Crunchyroll and Funimation.

Mushoku Tensei’s inaugural season was divided into two cour, with the first cours airing in July 2023 and adapting Ronoa Magic University story arc from light novel Volume 16 before adapting volumes 7-12 of Sylphiette Rudeus series as part of Rudeus’ journey back home and her subsequent search.
