What is Deku going to do with Shigaraki and what happened to Bakugo? Here are all the details about My Hero Academia 367.
In the previous chapter, Mirio did his utmost to stop Shigaraki Tomura from destroying the last bit of hope that the Heroes were hanging onto, and that’s why chapter 367 of My Hero Academia is so highly anticipated. Before, fans had seen Mirko jump into action and fight with all her might. By doing so, she managed to weaken Shigaraki so badly that he started feeling fatigued and pain for the first time in his life.
It was Mirio’s nature to be cheerful, which helped him to buy time for the Heroes’ plan to work. Shigaraki switched to a defensive form after getting weaker, which Mirio faced in the previous chapter. The hero we all were waiting for has finally made his entrance into the series and, now, it is his time to shine. Deku arrived on the scene just in time for him to deliver a powerful blow to Shigaraki as well. To know all the details about My Hero Academia 367, read till the end of this article.
My Hero Academia 367 Spoilers
Chapter 367 of My Hero Academia is named Deku Vs AFO, as spoilers suggest. A flashback of Deku encountering American jets over the ocean opens the chapter. Star and Stripe also made the decision to do this since they had depended on All Might’s successor. They diverted from protecting U.A in favor of giving Deku a lift because they were already disobeying their orders by remaining in Japan.
Deku sends Shigaraki flying with another Smash in the present. Mirio is pleased to see Deku as he gave his all for everyone to get some time and for Deku to arrive. As Shigaraki notes, the boy is not only getting stronger since they last fought, but he is also imitating the Third User of OFA. Once Deku realizes how everyone around him is feeling, he apologizes for being late.
Katsuki’s body frightens Izuku, and he becomes even more traumatized when he notes the All Might card next to him. Izuku registers the bodies of Tamaki, Nejire, and Mirko, with growing horror.
During his taunting, Shigaraki/AFO asks him if he will blame Toga for his delay, and which excuse he will give. Blackwhip coils like whips around him, leaving him unable to control himself and his quirks. As Mirio reassures him, everything is fine, and Edgeshot is repairing Bakugo’s body.
Deku controls his emotions
Despite Shigaraki/AFO scoffing that Mirio’s words are empty platitudes, Deku remembers that All Might has always believed that the duty of heroes is to make false piety a reality. As well as remembering Daigoro Banjo telling him to control his heart, Deku recovers some semblance of his composure and focuses on his task, stating that he will apologize once he has achieved his goal. Deku wraps Blackwhip around him like a scarf and asks the bad guy whether Shigaraki is still inside as the remnants of OFA start to appear behind him.
What about Bakugo?
Bakugo hasn’t been seen in My Hero Academia in quite a while. Bakugo was stabbed in the heart after his heroic performance against Shigaraki, leaving him in a near-death state. Edgeshot saved him by becoming his heart, as fans know. Despite Bakugo being alive, Shigaraki’s sole purpose in killing him was to provoke Deku, and Deku would certainly not like to see his friend in such a terrible state, even if Bakugo is alive.
There is a possibility that My Hero Academia 367 will focus on this aspect of the story. When Deku sees his best friend lying lifeless, he may well become enraged. However, at his core, he is a very sensible and intelligent person. As soon as Deku realizes that his friend was alive, he would certainly carry his burden on his own and take on Shigaraki.
At the same time, readers can also see Bakugo’s awakening in the upcoming chapter. In such a situation, it is conceivable for Deku and Bakugo to have a brief exchange, which the fans would undoubtedly love. Despite his health, Bakugo is expected to play an important part in this arc. He wouldn’t still be fighting if it weren’t the case.
