The next edition to the mega game franchise NBA 2K22 is set to release on September 10th 2021. The developers have put in a lot of hard work to improve the game from its last year’s version. Here are some of the improvements that we can expect to see:
- The developers have worked on the shot IQ, so now you can expect to take higher quality shots.
- The shot block and rebound moves tweaked.
- More emphasis on effective player movement.
Earlier the game used to be made available for early access to those who pre-ordered the game on their consoles. But as of NBA 2K22 there has been no announcements for the early access. It seems that everyone will have to wait until September 10th to finally get their hands on the much-awaited NBA 2K22.
NBA 2K22 Cover Star
NBA 2K22 will come in three editions with different cover stars on each of the copies. The NBA 2K22 Standard edition will feature Luka Doncic of Dallas Mavericks as its cover star.
The NBA 75th anniversary edition will feature Dirk Nowitzki, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Kevin Durant as the cover star.
The WNBA 25th anniversary edition will feature Candace Parker as it’s cover star. This is the first time that a WNBA star has ever featured as the cover star for an NBA game.
With it’s release just on the verge, NBA 2K22 has a lot of high expectations from it and will look to challenge other gaming franchises in market shares.
