The former 76er star, Ben Simmons is yet to make his debut for the Brooklyn Nets
According to reports, there is a huge chance that Ben Simmons will be able to make his long-awaited debut for the Brooklyn Nets in the 1st round of the upcoming playoffs.
Simmons was a part of the James Harden trade which saw him, Seth Curry, and Andre Drummond joining the Nets from the 76ers, and there was huge optimism around the league that Simmons will make the Nets a lot better than what it was with James Harden.
Ben Simmons was earlier sidelined due to conditioning issues and later it was found that he is suffering from an apparent back injury, which has halted his hopes of playing for his new team.
If Simmons is available for the playoffs, it will make the Brooklyn Nets one of the biggest title favorites as they have all the tools required to make a run towards the Championship this season.
If Ben Simmons is available to play for the Nets from the 1st round of the playoffs, there is no doubt that they can really win the championship this season.
Stopping a team that has the likes of Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving is really tough come playoff time, and if you add a player like Simmons who is one of the best playmakers in the league while also being a top-3 defender in the world, then this team is well capable of bringing a championship to Brooklyn.
It is very likely that the Nets will be up against the Boston Celtics in the 1st round of the playoffs, and it is not an easy matchup for them considering the fact that the Celtics have been one of the best teams in the league recently, but an injury to their starting center Rob Williams could prove costly for them as he would have been a key to dominate the Nets in this potential playoff series.
As of now, things are looking bright for the Brooklyn Nets, and Yes!, we can see them winning a Championship this season.
