Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown have started this season in a very strong manner and Kendrick Perkins believes they are the best duo in the NBA.
The Boston Celtics have had a great start to their season as they are currently 8-3 and are the 3rd seed in the Eastern Conference. A large part of it has been due to the sensational duo of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown.
The duo started this season from where they left off last season, and former Celtics player Kendrick Perkins spoke highly about them recently. Perkins stated that Tatum and Brown are the best duos in the league currently.
Talking about them, he said, “Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum, [they are] the best duo in the NBA and they proved that last year. Yes, they didn’t win the NBA championship, but we saw them at least get to the Finals.”
He added, “They’re looking like a team that’s on a mission to complete the mission that they didn’t do last season. …They have a lot of dangerous duos, but this is the best duo in the NBA.”
Jaylen Brown has averaged 25.4 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 2.8 assists in 11 games this season. While, Jayson Tatum has averaged 31.2 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 4.1 assists in 11 games this season. Hopefully, they will be able to continue this good form and bring a championship back to Boston.
