Russell Westbrook recorded another triple-double coming off the bench and played extremely well in the Lakers’ win over the Nuggets.
The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Denver Nuggets 126-108 and improved to 11-16 on the season. This was a great collective effort by the entire Lakers team and they ran away with the win in the second half.
Russell Westbrook had a phenomenal game as he recorded a triple-double while scoring 15 points. LeBron James also scored 30 points while Thomas Bryant chipped up with 21 points. Kendrick Perkins, the former teammate of Westbrook praised the former OKC star’s performance in the win over the Nuggets.
Speaking about Russell Westbrook, Kendrick Perkins said, “This has to be the most COMPLETE game that Russ has played in a Lakers uniform tonight. The Brodie is putting on a damn Clinic on both ends of the floor!!! Carry the hell on..,”
This was a huge win for the Lakers who were without Anthony Davis during the second half of the game. Next up they will be against the Washington Wizards and they will get a better look at one of their trade targets, Kyle Kuzma.
The Los Angeles Lakers have been playing quality ball over the past few weeks and just needed a win after their collapse against the Boston Celtics in their last game. However, the extent of AD’s injury is still unknown and his availability will be vital for the Lakers team.
