“Bron came out of nowhere. I didn’t see him”: RJ Hampton opens up on his experience of getting his shot blocked by LeBron James

Orlando Magic’s young player RJ Hampton recently opened up on his experience of getting his shot blocked by LeBron James.

LeBron James is very well known for his chase-down blocks throughout his entire career. One of those chase-down blocks contributed massively to him winning his toughest NBA Championship ever in 2016.

Many players have been on the opposite end of this chase-down block madness by LeBron James. One of them was Orlando Magic’s young player RJ Hampton.

Like other players, Hampton also didn’t have any clue about LeBron coming to block him. Due to that, he was rather stunned by seeing his shot blocked by the Los Angeles Lakers star.

He recently opened up about that experience. Hampton said, “Bron came out of nowhere. I didn’t see him. No one said anything. It was just like he flew from the other side and I seen that clip so many times. It was used on commercials. It just pisses me off every time I see it.”

RJ Hampton will get some opportunities in the future to dunk it down on James. Until he does that, that block will haunt him forever, as it will be continuously played on the highlight reels for years to come.
