Stephen Curry spoke about the unselfishness that helps the Golden State Warriors tick, following their latest win over the Miami Heat.
The Golden State Warriors returned to winning ways this season with a win over the Miami Heat at the Chase Center in San Francisco on Thursday night. The defending champions from last season had a turbulent pre-season off the floor and did not have a consistent start to their season, but it seems like the Warriors have turned their tide around in a comprehensive win.
The Warriors went up against the Heat at the Chase Center looking to return to winning ways, and it was a complete team performance by the defending champions that helped them get to a 125-110 win over the Heat. Steph Curry and Klay Thompson starred for the Warriors with their tallies of 33 and 19 points respectively, taking the game away from the Heat with their shooting.
The “Splash brothers” were at their very best as they found the bucket from most corners from the court against a helpless Heat side, especially piling on the heat in the fourth quarter just as the visitors thought they had a way into the game. Curry and Thompson showed why they have been one of the most feared duos over a number of years with some scary synchronization.
While the double trouble helped the Warriors return to winning ways, Curry addressed the press following the game and spoke about the unselfishness between himself and Thompson.
What did Curry have to say about the unselfishness between him and Thompson?
Curry addressed the press following their win over the Heat, and spoke about the unselfishness between himself and Thompson.
Speaking to Dennis Scott following the game, Curry spoke about his on-court relationship with his Splash brother. When asked about why Curry passed up a three opportunities to find Thompson in a better position to get his shot away, Curry replied: “This how we’ve done it since we’ve been playing together. We find that balance… For Klay, it’s big picture mode.”
The Splash brothers’ coordination and selflessness has helped them rack up four Championship titles in the past, and the Warriors will need both on their best game to keep their title.
