Demar DeRozan was the star of the night as the Chicago Bulls recorded a crucial win over the Los Angeles Clippers.
The Chicago Bulls after starting the season so well have recently found themselves in a slump which has been a big concern for them considering their ambitions this season. However, they weren’t off the pace against the Los Angeles Clippers as they edged out a very close game and secured the win which was very important for them.
Chicago won the match in overtime by the score of 135-130, in which Demar DeRozan was the star of the night as he registered his season-high total of 50 points in the game. He shot 17/26 from the field and absolutely tormented his hometown team which was expected coming into this game by many people.
Demar DeRozan’s acquisition by the Chicago Bulls has been an absolute blessing for the franchise as he and Zach Lavine have formed a formidable duo that can lead them to very greater heights in the upcoming years.
After this crucial win, The Chicago Bulls are now 45-32 and are the 5th seed in the Eastern Conference, as they look to build their momentum while heading into the playoffs.
Reggie Jackson scored 34 for the Clippers but wasn’t able to lead his team to the win
Reggie Jackson had a great night for the Los Angeles Clippers, as he scored 34 points in which he shot 12/23 from the field and also knocked down 6 three-pointers in this game.
However, his heroics were not enough to lead the Clippers to a much-needed win but this performance would boost the confidence around the team because if he can perform at this level alongside Paul George who has also returned from the injury, then the Clippers can make some noise in the playoffs.
Paul George in his second game coming back from an elbow injury didn’t have a good game while shooting the ball but still managed to score 22 points which was a good sign for the team from LA.
