Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe went head to head while comparing the playoff failures of LeBron James and Kevin Durant.
Both Kevin Durant, and LeBron James have had their fair share of playoff disappointments over the years. It’s not happened often, but they have come short for their team on some occasions.
Recently, KD had a terrible series against the Boston Celtics. He wasn’t able to play well, due to the tough defense of the Celtics, and as a result, his team got swept in the 1st round.
Skip Bayless, and Shannon Sharpe on their show Undisputed were talking about that performance of Kevin Durant. Skip Bayless who has been an avid supporter of KD throughout his career, was quick to jump on his favorite target LeBron James.
When Shannon Sharpe, who is very close to LeBron James brought up the struggles of KD, Skip brought up the struggles of LeBron James during the 2011 NBA Finals. In those finals, LeBron struggled massively, and it was the worst playoff series of his career so far. The duo kept going at each other like always, as they are loyal to the player that they support.
The future of Kevin Durant remains uncertain
Kevin Durant wants to leave the Brooklyn Nets and he has already handed in a trade request. However, so far no team has been able to put up the package that the Nets want, and as a result, he hasn’t been moved yet.
Both KD and Kyrie are likely to leave the Nets before the next season starts, and it will be an unfortunate end for a team that looked so good on paper. It will be interesting to see where both of these star players end up next season, as it will change the current playing field in the NBA.
