The Dallas Mavericks secured a massive win over the Denver Nuggets, and surprisingly Luka Doncic didn’t have the best of games. Doncic scored just 22 points while shooting 5/17 from the field.
However, Tim Hardaway Jr. once again stepped up for the Mavs and led them to a 116-115 win over the Nuggets. He scored a game-high total of 29 points, while shooting 7/12 from the field, and 6/8 from the three-point range.
The Mavs desperately need players apart from Luka Doncic to step up this season, and this was a great game from Hardaway Jr. who is slowly getting back into the grove after a slow start to the season. He has averaged 13.3 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 2.0 assists in 23 games this season.
The Dallas Mavericks are currently 13-11 and if the role players continue to step up alongside Luka Doncic, this could be another special season for them. Moreover, that would improve the chances of Doncic winning the MVP this season.
