Nick Wright believed that LeBron James had already passed Michael Jordan after his win in the NBA Finals in 2016 against the Warriors.

The debate between LeBron James and Michael Jordan for being the greatest player ever is everlasting. Many think that Jordan is the undisputed GOAT, while the newer generation prefers LeBron.

LeBron has been able to maintain his longevity, which is why he is a cut above the rest. On the other hand, the record of Jordan in the Finals is unmatchable, and it is one of the reasons why people think he will never be caught.

Back in 2017, famous Sports Analyst Nick Wright believed that LeBron James had already passed Michael Jordan after winning the 2016 NBA Finals against the Golden State Warriors after coming back from 3-1 down.

Nick Wright said, “So for LeBron to pass Jordan he needs a time machine to go back about 11 months when he passed him the first time LeBron has been the best player ever since about midway point of Game six of last year’s finals and all he’s done since then is continue that he’s on the greatest streak in postseason history since the since Dray called him a the b-word and Klay said his feelings were hurt explains 16 games his team’s 15 and 1 giving you 34-9-8 and 55% shooting.”

Nick Wright believes LeBron James is better than Michael Jordan in all categories

Nick Wright mentioned that if we match categories by categories between LeBron and Michael Jordan, then also LeBron James comes out to be better than Jordan.

Nick Wright made some pretty good points. However, all the Jordan stans will always put LeBron James’s bad record in the finals, while Jordan didn’t lose a single NBA Finals in his career.

Despite his old age, LeBron has been able to carry on his eliteness on the court. He hasn’t regressed a bit, and he is aging like a fine wine. Moreover, since leaving the Cavs, he has also won another title with the Lakers.

It was a great triumph by LeBron James and the Lakers in 2020 when they fulfilled their promise of delivering an NBA championship to the city of Los Angeles. He isn’t going anywhere and might win a couple more by the time he’s done playing.
