Dallas Mavericks head coach Jason Kidd was in all praise for Luka Doncic after he led them to a big win over the Golden State Warriors.
With a decisive victory over the Golden State Warriors, Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks ended a skid in which they had lost their previous four games. In the game against the reigning champs, Doncic once again demonstrated his ability by recording a triple-double and scoring 40 points.
Luka Doncic is one of the leading candidates to earn the Most Valuable Player award for the 2018–19 NBA season. If he keeps playing like this and the Mavericks continue to win games, this may be Doncic’s year to win the award. On the other hand, he hasn’t received much assistance from the other Mavericks players thus far this season, and he would welcome it.
Speaking about Luka Doncic, Mavs head coach Jason Kidd said, “It’s getting boring, I mean, let’s see something different. Maybe do it with his left hand. I’m just joking.” He added, “Look, he’s one of the best in the world, and that’s what he does. Some of us can take him for granted. The man is special.”
In order to provide some assistance for Luka Doncic, the Dallas Mavericks did go ahead and sign Kemba Walker. Additionally, they have brought rookie Jaden Hardy back up from the G-League. Jason Kidd will be overjoyed if they are able to contribute to reducing the amount of work that the Mavs superstar has to do.
