Ben Simmons during his appearance on JJ Reddick’s podcast talked about why he thinks that the Brooklyn Nets have a chance of winning it all this season.
Ben Simmons’ last season was quite eventful. He was traded to the Brooklyn Nets after not appearing in any games for the Philadelphia 76ers. Simmons has not yet played for the Nets due to a back injury he sustained after arriving in Brooklyn.
Simmons is eager to get the new season underway so he can start playing. He has dug in his heels and is determined to disprove his critics during the past year. It would be great if he could get back to being an all-star this year.
Recently, Ben Simmons appeared on JJ Reddick’s podcast and he believes that the Nets are in a great position to win it all this year. Talking about it, Simmons said, “I think just like the talent that we have and the type of players that we have we’re going to be able to run the floor easily.”
Simmons added, “You know, we got Clax, who can run, he moves incredibly, well um… Kev, Patty, Kai, Joe, um just got Royce another great D guy um I’m missing people but yeah I think this team right now is just a great fit for what I do and what I bring to the game.”
He concluded with, “I feel like it’s Philly on steroids kind of in terms of what we had when you know you were there… I just think it’s exciting like knowing I’m gonna play with those guys and knowing their games like I don’t have to guard Kyrie and Kevin.”
All eyes will be on Ben Simmons, Kevin Durant, and Kyrie Irving as they will look to guide the Nets to a championship this season. All of the Nets’ superstars are signed on for next season, and their roster is largely believed to be the best in the league. Therefore, the Nets’ chances of claiming the title are extremely high.
