When Kevin Durant announced that he wanted to be traded from the Brooklyn Nets, the whole NBA community was taken aback. Following a succession of playoff losses and with much uncertainty around the team, KD came to the conclusion that it was best for him to move on.

The Nets wanted an excess of players and a draught pick in exchange for the superstar, KD, but many contending teams expressed interest in acquiring him. However, the Nets insisted on getting something in return.

Because of this, no team was even close to completing the acquisition of Durant. All of that has been put to rest as a result of KD’s recent decision to participate in the upcoming NBA season with the Nets. This indicates that the Nets are giving the ball back to Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and Ben Simmons to run it back.

The Nets have what is widely considered to be the strongest roster in the league, and all of their superstars are expected to return for the upcoming season. As a result, the Nets have a very good chance of winning the title.

Kyrie Irving recently admitted that he respected KD’s situation. He said, It was on Kev from the beginning. I honored his trade request and understood it. There’s been a lot of uncertainty in this building for the last couple of years.”

“Being in the middle was kind of like a clusterf**k”- Kyrie Irving on the whole Kevin Durant situation

Kyrie Irving was very open about how he felt during the whole KD-Trade saga. He claimed that he was quite shocked by how things proceeded, but is happy now that they are in Brooklyn together.

Kyrie said, “You’re watching your best friend go through now the other side of the media storm that comes with this trade request. And being in the middle was kind of like a clusterf***k”

Kevin Durant also spoke about his situation and said, “As the season went on, you seen what happened with our season, Guys in and out of the lineup, injuries, just a lot of uncertainty, which built some doubt in my mind about the next four years of my career.

He added, “I mean, I’m getting older. I want to be in a place that’s stable and try to build a championship culture. So I had some doubts about that.”

This upcoming season, the players Ben Simmons, Kevin Durant, and Kyrie Irving will be the ones to lead the way for the Nets. It is generally agreed that the team that the Nets have assembled is the finest in the league, and it is anticipated that all of their superstars will be back for the following season. As a direct consequence of this, the Nets are in an excellent position to win the title.

As the season progresses, everyone will be keeping a close eye on Ben Simmons, Kevin Durant, and Kyrie Irving as they try to lead the Nets to a championship. It is widely held that the New Jersey Nets have the finest roster in the NBA due to the fact that all of their superstars have committed to returning for the upcoming season. As a result, the probabilities of the Nets winning the championship are through the roof.

Irving firmly believes that the Nets are a title contender this season, and said this about his expectation from the team, “The sky is the limit. I don’t want to say that as a cliche, but it really is because we don’t know what this team is going to paint on this canvas this year as of yet. But we have the drive, we have the motivation, we’re saying all the right things.”
