Draymond Green was rumored to join the Los Angeles Lakers next season but the Warriors veteran has denied it.
Draymond Green headed into this season with a lot of pressure due to his incident with Jordan Poole. He lost the trust in the locker room and due to it, there was a serious concern about his future with the Golden State Warriors.
There were rumors about him getting traded to the Los Angeles Lakers or signing with them in the free agency due to his connections with LeBron James and Rich Paul. However, recently Green denied all those rumors.
Talking about the rumors about the Lakers, Draymond Green said, “I never said that, People can say what they want. I’m also not really one to react much to what one may say. I react to things when I want to react to it. I don’t react to things just because somebody said it.”
Draymond Green still has a player option left on his contract and it is very unlikely that he will leave the Warriors after this season. However, things could change in the future. So far this season, Green has averaged 8.9 points, 7.1 assists, and 6.2 rebounds in 22 games.
