Patrick Beverley has already started catching attention among the Lakers fans after his interesting comments about LeBron James and AD.

Finally making a move in the trade market, the Los Angeles Lakers acquired Patrick Beverley from the Utah Jazz. They traded away Stanley Johnson and Talen Horton-Tucker to get Beverley. Beverley, who had previously expressed his desire to play for the Lakers, finally got his wish to play alongside LeBron James fulfilled when the Lakers signed both of them.

Beverley is widely regarded as the ideal candidate to fill the role of defensive leader on the Lakers. It has led many to conclude that this is an excellent move on the part of the Lakers. LeBron James has also been quite close to Beverley over the years, and it is a great pickup for the team.

Recently, Patrick Beverley attended the first-ever press conference as a Laker and he had a great answer to one of the questions. The reporter asked, “You’ll be playing with LeBron James and Anthony Davis.” Beverley replied, “They’re gonna be playing with me. I made the playoffs last year, they didn’t. It’s a difference.”

This was a classic Pat Bev reply, and it has got the Lakers fans excited for the upcoming season. Maybe Beverley will spark that light into this Lakers team that they didn’t have last season.
