Former Utah Jazz star player Donovan Mitchell was quite upset last night as his beloved New York Mets were thrashed by the San Diego Padres, and they were knocked out of the MLB playoffs.

The San Diego Padres won Game 3 of the NLWC against the Mets by 6-0, as star pitcher Joe Musgrove had himself a great night. Padres star players Manny Machado and Juan Soto also stepped up when it mattered the most and helped their team to progress to the divisional round series against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Following the Mets’ loss to the Padres, Donovan Mitchell tweeted, “Last tweet of the night…. Jake don’t leave”, as doesn’t want star Mets pitcher Jacob DeGrom to leave the franchise. DeGrom will be a free agent following the end of this season, and interest in him is quite high around the league.
