Chet Holmgreen was once again great on the defensive end and racked up multiple blocks in the game against Houston Rockets.
Chet Holmgreen has been pretty impressive for the Oklahoma City Thunder in his outings in the summer league. He has proved many people wrong so far who doubted him.
His size was an issue, as he is not the most muscular player, but he’s quite tall enough. Chet has been able to play within his strengths and has had a positive impact on his team’s performance.
In the game against the Houston Rockets, he didn’t have the best of games on the offensive end, but on the defensive end, he was pretty good. It was a good overall game for him, and he showed that despite him being skinny, he is a great rim protector and defender.
In the game against the Rockets, Chet had 12 Points 8 Rebounds 2 Assists 2 Steals, and 4 Blocks. He’ll only get better from here on, and things are looking quite bright for the Oklahoma City Thunder franchise.
The acquisition of Chet Holmgreen by the Oklahoma City Thunder has sent the franchise into a great position. In a season or two, they’ll be able to make a huge leap like the Grizzlies did last season.
With Josh Giddey, and Shai Gilgeous Alexander already showing last season that they are future stars, the inclusion of Chet has presented them with a big three for the future.
These three players can turn the fate of the franchise, and send them back to contending mode which they had done for the better part of the last decade.
