Injuries have haunted him throughout his career, and for the last two seasons, his injuries have resulted in bad seasons for the Lakers. He has received a lot of criticism for his difficulty in staying healthy, and he has a huge season ahead of him.
Recently, NBA Legend Kevin Garnett also called out Anthony Davis. Garnett has high expectations for Davis this season, and he expects the Lakers star to carry the torch from LeBron James.
Talking about Anthony Davis, Kevin Garnett said, “It’s his turn to carry the torch. Bron done carried this muthaf*** for a whole decade… AD came to the Lakers to be a MVP and take the the torch from bro and carry it.”
Certainly, Anthony Davis needs to step up this season and make a statement. He is being continuously doubted by people, and AD needs to stay healthy and show the world that he still is one of the best players in the world. There is no doubt that if Davis stays healthy, he can win the MVP award this season.
