LeBron James showed support for his former teammate Kyrie Irving as the world continues to criticize the Nets star player.

Kyrie Irving has been criticized heavily recently by many for the promotion of a documentary that promotes anti-semitism and he was suspended for five games as well by the Brooklyn Nets.

However, the outburst toward Irving has been more than many would have expected. Recently, LeBron James, the former teammate of Irving came out in support of him and urged to let him play in the league.

Talking about Irving, LeBron James said, “I told you guys that I don’t believe in sharing hurtful information. And I’ll continue to be that way but Kyrie apologized and he should be able to play. That’s what I think. It’s that simple. Help him learn- but he should be playing.”

He added, “What he’s asked to do to get back on the floor I think is excessive IMO. He’s not the person that’s being portrayed of him. Anyways back to my rehab session. What he’s asked to do to get back on.”

Kyrie Irving would love to get back on the court and contribute for the Brooklyn Nets as he is also looking to redeem himself ahead of a huge free agency next summer. The Nets have replaced Steve Nash with Jacque Vaughn and they have looked better under him. The inclusion of Irving could help to elevate this team to the next level.
