Nike has officially ended its association with Brooklyn Nets star Kyrie Irving. The signature endorsement deal Irving had with the business was supposed to expire on October 1st, 2023, but after Irving tweeted a link on social media to a book and movie with an antisemitic message, the partnership was abruptly and unexpectedly canceled 11 months before it was set to expire.

After signing with Nike as a rookie in 2011, Irving became the 20th NBA player in league history to receive his own signature sneaker in 2014, and the first athlete in the company’s history to do so.

Fans adored Kyrie Irving’s sneakers, which were among the most popular in NBA history. He is currently said to be on his way to New Balance as his new shoe sponsor. As per Brandon Scoopson: Kyrie Irving, as reported, is no longer a Nike athlete. I’m told that a sneaker company that many should be paying attention to is New Balance. Stay tuned for that.

Fans are already excited by this news as they know Kyrie Irving always gets the best shoes in the market. Hopefully, New Balance will be able to live up to its potential and help Kyrie build his brand just like they did with Kawhi Leonard.
