Kyrie Irving led the Brooklyn Nets to the victory against the defending champions.
The 29-year old stole the show as an injury-depleted Brooklyn Nets defeated the Milwaukee Bucks at their home.
Irving came up big as he dropped 38 points which helped to cause the upset against a solid Milwaukee team.
This will be a big result for the Brooklyn Nets as they will have to perform very well in the next few weeks to get that playoff spot.
With Kevin Durant returning next week this was just the perfect result that would have gone the way for Brooklyn Nets. Seth Curry also contributed with 19 points which helped massively for securing the victory at a tough place against a tough team.
Giannis’ 29 points were not enough for the Milwaukee Bucks to hold the Brooklyn Nets
Giannis scored 29 points while Khris Middleton scored 25 points. Bobby Portis had a massive 30 point game but that still was not enough to beat this Brooklyn squad. The Brooklyns made some big defensive plays at the end of the game to get the victory.
Andre Drummond and James Johnson had game-winning blocks that contributed massively to the victory of the Nets with Kyrie Irving shining in clutch moments to lead his team to the victory.
They showed the world why they are so highly touted as without Kevin Durant and Ben Simmons they were able to defeat the defending champions which will set their way for the rest of the regular season as they seek to improve their record and qualify for the playoffs.
Steve Nash talked about the return of KD and he said, “Every day closer, We’ll see. I expect in the next week he’ll be back for sure. It could be quick; it could be the whole week barring any setbacks.“
When the whole crew of the Brooklyn Nets will be back in action we will be able to see why they are still the favorites to win the NBA Championship this season.
