Luka Doncic had a 40-point triple-double in the win over the defending champions, the Golden State Warriors.
Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks snapped their four-game losing streak with a big win over the Golden State Warriors. Doncic recorded a 40-point triple-double and once again showed his greatness against the defending champions.
Luka Doncic is among the frontrunners to win the MVP award this season, and if he continues to play like this with the Mavericks getting wins, this could be his year. However, he would love some help from other Mavs players, which he hasn’t gotten much often this season.
Nick Wright was left impressed by Doncic’s performance against the Warriors but he also wants the Mavs to build a good team around him. The Dallas Mavericks reached the Western Conference Finals last season and they could be a serious title contender soon.
Speaking about Luka Doncic, Nick Wright said, “The Mavs have to get their act together, but Luka is the best player in the Western Conference & the 2nd best player alive, just like he was last year, and it’s not particularly close.”
The Dallas Mavericks did sign Kemba Walker to provide some help for Luka Doncic, and they have also called back rookie Jaden Hardy from the G-League. It will be great if both of them could help in easing the workload of the Mavs superstar.
