In the first game of their new NBA season, the New Orleans Pelicans defeated the Brooklyn Nets by a score of 130-108, demonstrating to the entire basketball world that they are a formidable squad capable of competing for the NBA championship this year.

Zion Williamson finally made his long-awaited return to the court for the Pelicans, and he did not disappoint, scoring 25 points in his first game back. Zion also had 9 rebounds, 3 assists, and 4 steals for the Pelicans, who appeared to be in charge for most of the game thanks to Zion’s performance.

In addition to Zion Williamson’s performance, CJ McCollum and Brandon Ingram each contributed 21 and 28 points, respectively, to the team’s total. Kevin Durant led the Brooklyn Nets in scoring with 32 points despite the fact that all three of the team’s stars participated in the game. Unfortunately for the Nets, they were defeated. Kyrie Irving and Ben Simmons had a disappointing game for the Nets.
