Kendrick Perkins believes the Milwaukee Bucks led by Giannis Antetokounmpo would be a strong contender once again next season.
The Milwaukee Bucks missed out on a championship this season because of an injury to Khris Middleton. They could have defeated the Boston Celtics in 2nd round of the playoffs and were in a good position to come out of the East.
However, Kendrick Perkins is not losing hope on the Bucks led by Giannis Antetokounmpo. He believes that they will come back stronger next season, and will be contenders once again.
Perkins said, “One Lesson I Learned a Year Ago, Never Sleep on Giannis Antetokounmpo. When I Look Another the Milwaukee Bucks, They Quietly Got Better in the off Season With the Acquisitions They Get in Free Agency.”
He added, “But I Think About Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday. They Went Straight From the Finals to Go Play and Win a Gold Medal. So They Didn’t Have a Ton of Time to Go Rest and Get Their Legs Healthy.”
Kendrick Perkins has the Milwaukee Bucks led by Giannis Antetokounmpo as his favorites to come out the East next season
Kendrick Perkins firmly believes the Milwaukee Bucks led by Giannis Antetokounmpo are in a good position to come out of the Eastern Conference next season.
Perkins said, “A Healthy Bucks Team Coming Back In, a Motivated Giannis Who Wants to Get Back to the Finals, Bobby Porter Resigned and They Have Wesley Matthews and Brooks Lopez, to Start the Season.”
He added, “Ibaka, I Mean, Ibaka Is Like a Safety Net. But I’m Looking at Brook Lopez and Antetokounmpo, Getting Back to Anchoring the Defense the Way They Did a Year a Two Ago, and I’m Looking at the Overall Roster With the Experience, and I’m Not Sleeping on the Walk Bucks. I Have Them as One of My Favorites in the East.”
The Milwaukee Bucks certainly have a pretty good one and there is no doubt that they can win another championship next season. Giannis is in his peak years, and he is arguably the best player in the world currently, which is why he will be expected to win his second championship.
