$200m worth Kevin Durant helps in $2m investment in Venus Williams’ company

Kevin Durant has reportedly invested in tennis legend Venus Williams’ company.

Kevin Durant is widely regarded as one of the best players in the world right now. While the Brooklyn Nets superstar is known for his shooting ability, his incredible jump span and his mobility on the court, he is known for his outspoken persona off the court – but few know that Kevin Durant is also an entrepreneur with a knack for investment.

Durant has recently shown his knack for investing stocks in a business as he has invested in American tennis legend Venus Williams’ company. Williams’ Happy Viking company is a plant-based superfood brand that launched in 2020, and it looks like it’s gaining some real financial backing from some heavy-hitters – such as the likes of Durant and her sister Serena Williams.

Durant is worth $200million courtesy of the salaries collected in his playing career and his endorsements that make him the third highest-paid player in the NBA Right now joins a list containing heavy hitters such as Rich Kleiman from Durant’s very own Thirty-Five ventures and Peloton Vice President of Fitness Programming Robin Arzón among others.

What are some of Durant’s other investments?

Besides Happy Viking, Durant has also invested in other companies.

The 33-year-old has investments in over 80 companies through his firm Thirty Five Ventures – an investment company with nearly 40 portfolio companies under its wing. Durant is involved alongside his agent/manager, Rich Kleinman, to the tune of $15 million. Some of the many companies that he has invested in include Goalsetter, Fractional, and Hugging Face.

The two-time NBA champion also has investments in cryptocurrency, delivery startups, and a digital fitness company, to name a few. Durant would be reportedly making $87.9M this year, including his off-court earnings.
