LeBron James describes himself as “always been a pass-first guy” as he prepares to smash the NBA scoring record
The LA Lakers’ LeBron James got the opportunity to speak with ESPN’s Dave McMenamin on his path to being the top scorer in the NBA. LeBron James got the time to consider his scoring records and accomplishments throughout the course of his 20-year NBA career during the conversation.
McMenamin got the opportunity to chat with the four-time MVP before he set out to beat Kareem Abdul-scoring Jabbar’s record.
LeBron James during his conversation with McMenamin, “The scoring record was never ever even thought of in my head because I’ve always been a pass-first guy. I’ve always loved seeing the success of my teammates.”
The scoring record will likely be broken this season by LeBron James, who now has 37,903 points. James setting a new record will be one of the team’s season’s high points despite the difficulties the Lakers have encountered so far.
Since he began racking up prestigious honours, LeBron James has been a constant name in the GOAT debate. The debate about who was the best player in league history tightened as he began winning championships. He is currently on track to set a prestigious scoring record, which will support his claim to be the best player ever.
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar previously asserted that he would be thrilled if LeBron broke his scoring record. Abdul-Jabbar stated that when great records are broken, the game “will always improve” and praised LeBron James for working “extremely hard to reach this far.” James has made it a priority to keep his body in shape and retain his endurance, and that work will undoubtedly pay off when he succeeds to smash the scoring record.
