Andre Iguodala is one NBA veteran who is known to wear his heart out on his sleeves. Perhaps this is just why when he got into a heated altercation with a game official on Tuesday night, to throw the ball into the stands, the league penalized him with a $25,000 fine.
For those who are unaware of the incident, Andre was ejected with 4:30 remaining in the game at the Chase Center against the Phoenix Suns. The former NBA Finals MVP was battling a rebound with Jock Landale when he ultimately threw the ball into the stands and followed it by a verbal spat with the game official.
The loss against the Suns frustrated many of the Golden State Warriors stars and Andre Iguodala was at the forefront of it all. Moreover, the $25,000 fine on Iguodala was issued by Joe Dumars, the league’s Executive Vice President, Head of Basketball Operations.

The defending NBA champion Steve Kerr’s Golden State Warriors are attempting to get their season on track after a slow and injury-plagued first half of the year.
The Warriors, who just got Stephen Curry back from injury after an 11-game absence, fell to 20-21 with the defeat to the Suns, and the team is in fourth place in the Pacific Division, just 1 game ahead of the last place Los Angeles Lakers.
