Davis returned on January 25 when he came off the bench to play for Darvin Ham against the San Antonio Spurs. He played the same role against the Boston Celtics, after confessing that he did feel ‘good’ return on the court.

As per Shams Charania, Anthony Davis and LeBron James have both been ruled out from this mega contest. The Los Angeles Lakers have won 4 out of their last 10 games entering their second game in a 5-game road trip.

“I feel great. It felt good out on the floor,” Davis told Lakers reporter Mike Trudell. “Foot feels fine. Good to be out there with the guys battling. It was good because it was a close game. We really had to battle until the last, maybe, four, five minutes. It was a good test for me going into this road trip. But overall, man, I’m happy to be back on the court with these guys, battling, man. It was a long five-and-a-half weeks, so it feels good to come back and get a win and, ultimately, just be back on the court with these guys, supporting.”
