New York Knicks will have their Christmas Day matchup against Atlanta Hawks tonight. Let us check status of Kemba Walker and who all are available for the game for the Knicks.

Christmas is here and everyone is excited about vacations. The NBA has scheduled so many exciting match ups this long weekend so that NBA fans will have their appetite filled up with the ball game also.

First up is the Knicks will be facing their intraconference competitors Atlanta Hawks. Both teams are yet to confirm their seat in the playoffs and will not want to play catch up later in the season also. Both teams have not been as proficient as they were in the 2021 season. Knicks have won only 14 out of their 32 games while the Hawks have won 15 out of their 31 games.

Big Apple will be more optimistic about the game as the Hawks will surely be shorthanded due to injuries and Covid-19 protocol.

Roster condition at the Knicks

Knicks shooting and even the defense is in big trouble right now. Multiple Knicks players are struggling shooting-wise. Coach Thibodeau had already kept Kemba Walker out of rotation, but looking at the teams’ performance, he is back on the court and even in starting 5 for the team.

Certainly, the strict action against Walker seems to have worked well for the Knicks as he has played a very instrumental role in the last 3 games since his return. He scored 44 in the last game even though the Knicks were on the wrong end of the results; he was a glimmer of hope for the win.

Many Knicks stars will also be back after completing their 10 day’s isolation from the game due to COVID-19 Protocol. As per Knicks officials statement on their twitter NY_KnicksPR, RJ Barrett, Immanuel Quickley, and Obi Toppin back in the mix, the Knicks have a pretty good chance in this match-up.
