Jaden Ivey, the guard from Purdue is likely to be picked at this spot by this team in the NBA Draft on Friday, in Brooklyn.
Jaden Ivey is arguably the most exciting player in this year’s NBA Draft. The combo-guard from Purdue has been attracting a lot of interest from multiple teams around the league.
He is seen as a franchise-changing player. Moreover, if the draft order was different, he could have gone as the 1st overall pick also. Such is his hype, and he has earned it.
Ivey played for Purdue during the college season and had a stellar campaign. He’s a 6’4 guard, who weighs 195 lbs and is an excellent finisher on the rim, as well as a great three-point shooter. Jaden Ivey can play both as a shooting, and point guard because of his excellent playmaking and scoring skills.
It isn’t confirmed yet that the Sacramento Kings will be able to hold on to the 4th pick during the draft. There had been multiple rumors regarding a potential trade to acquire that 4th overall pick, in order to draft Jaden Ivey.
The likes of the New York Knicks, Washington Wizards, Oklahoma City Thunder, and the Indiana Pacers are trying their chances to trade to get the 4th overall pick. This shows the confidence in Ivey that all teams have. He is destined to be a star in this league.
