As we are approaching the mega showdown of the Super Bowl in 2023 (LVII), it seems like Nets star Kevin Durant has already placed his money on Cincinnati Bengals’ QB – Joe Burrow. The two-time NBA Champion went on to name Burrow ‘as the best quarterback in the league.’
Durant is a keen admirer of the sport and has often voiced his opinion on several occasions when it comes to his fandom of the NFL. Now, with the NFL conference championship games all set to take place this week, Durant has revealed his massive expectations from Joe.
But to bring everyone on the same page, it is the Philadelphia Eagles that will lock horns against Brock Purdy-led San Francisco 49ers. Whereas Cincinnati Bengals might be making their second consecutive appearance in the Super Bowl if they beat Patrick Mahomes-led Kansas City Chiefs.
On a recent episode of “The ETCs,” Kevin Durant took a moment to give his prediction for the pair of games, taking the Bengals and the 49ers. Durant said, “I got Joe Burrow. Best quarterback in the league. I’m going Burrow and Purdy.”
There have to be millions of football fans who would be keenly waiting for the NFL Championship games but do not let Kevin Durant’s return on the court before the 2023 All-Star be ignored. The two-time NBA Champion is set to commence his on-court training this week, and there is growing optimism that he might step on the NBA hardwood days before the All-Star game as well.
