Bibigo will feature on the Lakers jersey for 2021-22 season

The NBA team LA Lakers have recently announced that they have signed a multi-year global marketing deal with Korean food company Bibigo.

Bibigo will feature on the Lakers jersey starting from this season. The deal will also allow Bibigo to have their courtside branding and even marketing campaigns.

President of Business Operations for the Lakers Tim Harris said (h/t LA Lakers):

“The Lakers are thrilled for the opportunity to partner with Bibigo as our first ever global marketing partner. As Korea’s leading food brand, Bibigo is always looking for opportunities to innovate and expand their brand, and the Lakers are excited to help them to not only expand their global recognition, but to provide the opportunity to reach new fans.”

The Lakers will also launch community initiatives within LA and outside US to help the backward community. They will also set up basketball court refurbishment projects. LA Lakers will have patch of Bibigo logo stitched into the LA Lakers jersey on the front left shoulder.

Bibigo is a brand by the No.1 food company in Korea, CJ. Bibigo offers ready to eat korean delicacies around the world. The company offers a wide range of dumplings, sauces and also other Korean delights.

This deal also looks to promote the brand globally through Lakers and garner a new consumer base.
