The Boston Celtics continue to improve their roster with the addition of Malcolm Brogdon following an excellent campaign last season.

The Boston Celtics had a great season last year. They reached the NBA Finals but unfortunately lost to the Golden State Warriors. Their team had some room for improvement, and they haven’t wasted much time on it.

The Celtics have acquired point guard Malcolm Brogdon from the Indiana Pacers via trade. According to reports, The Pacers will trade Malcolm Brogdon to the Celtics for a package including Daniel Theis, Aaron Nesmith, and a 2023 first-round pick

This is a big pickup for the Celtics, as they will be able to get some scoring boost from their bench also. Even though Tatum and Brown had great performances last year, the addition of Brogdon will help to ease the load on their two young superstars.

The Boston Celtics have emerged as the favorites to win the championship next season following the trade of Brogdon. Everyone knows that this team has gotten a lot stronger with Brogdon joining them.

Malcolm Brogdon speaks up about his aspirations with the Celtics

Malcolm Brogdon is pretty excited to join the Boston Celtics. He knows that this is a very strong team, and is a legit championship contender. He himself has high aspirations from him after this move from the Pacers.

Brogdon said, “This Boston team is experienced and hungry to win a championship. I’m excited to be a part of the Boston family and compete for that Championship,”

Hopefully, this move turns out well for both parties. This is a perfect situation for Brogdon, and he can really prosper in the role that he will be given by the team.
