The Boston Celtics have completed the first-round sweep of the Brooklyn Nets, and have progressed to the 2nd round of the East playoffs. Even though the game was close till the end, the team from Boston came up with a win just like they have done throughout the series.

Boston will face the winner between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Chicago Bulls in the 2nd round of the Eastern Conference Playoffs. With the Bucks in a prime position to win that series, Boston will be looking to prepare themselves for a tough task ahead to face Giannis and co.

Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown were once again the key factors for Boston in their 4th straight win against the Nets. Tatum dropped 29 points, while Brown ended up with 22 points.

Marcus Smart, the DPOY also contributed massively to the Celtics. He ended up scoring a crucial total of 20 points while his defense was again the reason why Boston was able to contain Kyrie Irving.

Kevin Durant ended up with 39 points in another loss for the Nets

Kevin Durant finally came into life during the series. So far he had struggled against the tenacious defense of the Celtics but in game 4 he was able to put up a decent performance.

KD ended up scoring 39 points while also recording 7 rebounds and 9 assists. However, this was an inefficient performance from Durant, as he shot an abysmal 13/31 from the field, and missed many open looks to tie the game in clutch.

This series has definitely hurt his legacy, as he was claimed as the best player in the world, but he just got swept in the 1st round. It will be interesting to see how will KD and the Nets bounce back next season when they will relatively be healthier than they were during this season.
