Miles Bridges, the player of the Charlotte Hornets was charged with felony counts of domestic violence and child abuse.
According to the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office, Miles Bridges, a forward for the Charlotte Hornets, was charged on Tuesday with domestic abuse in Los Angeles.
According to the District Attorney’s office, Bridges is currently charged with two felony counts of child abuse under circumstances or conditions likely to result in serious bodily injury or death, as well as one felony offense of harming a child’s parent.
The statement wrote: “Domestic violence creates physical, mental and emotional trauma that has a lasting impact on survivors,” District Attorney George Gasc贸n said. “Children who witness family violence are especially vulnerable and the impact on them is immeasurable. Mr. Bridges will be held accountable for his actions and our Bureau of Victim Services will support the survivors through this difficult process.”
This whole scenario has been a very bad look for the Charlotte Hornets and the NBA. Everyone is disappointed with what Miles Bridges did, and he is such a talented player who has now put himself in a very bad position.
