Bronny James continues his rise to stardom with a brand new Nike NIL endorsement deal.
Bronny James – the eldest son of LeBron James – continues his rise to stardom as he put pen to paper on a new Nike NIL endorsement deal. The 18 year old is widely known as one of the best prospects in his age group, and has quite the reputation as a point guard in his high school career.
Bronny is a senior at Sierra Leone High School, and is considered being one of the hottest prospects in his age group – and it was no surprise for Nike to hand him the NIL deal. Bronny follows his father’s footsteps – as LeBron famously signed a lifetime contract with the sports giants in 2015 and opened the LeBron James Innovation Center at the Oregon headquarters.
Alongside Bronny, four others including Iowa point guard Caitlin Clarke, Stanford guard Hayley Jones, top 2-23 guard D.J. Wagner and Bronny’s fellow Sierra Canyon High School classmate and star guard Juju Watkins, have all signed NIL deals. However, Bronny is the highest rated among the group – and continues his steady rise to stardom like his father did at his age.
What did Bronny have to say about his new Nike deal?
It is fair to say that Bronny is grateful and excited for his new Nike deal.
Bronny recently commented in a statement: “For as long as I can remember, Nike’s been a part of my family. Getting a chance to team up with them and continue my family’s legacy both on the court and in the community is wild – it really means a lot to me.”
Nike’s statement added: “Each athlete is recognized as a player who is paving the way for the next generation on and off the court. These athletes push Nike to think about new ways the game can break barriers, bring people together, build community and shape the future.”
Bronny will be eligible to take part in the NBA Draft in 2024, and it will certainly interest to see how his NBA career unfolds when he can finally make it to the big league.
