Joe Harris suffered an ankle injury and went through surgery but didn’t make any progress

The Brooklyn Nets throughout the season have been missing their key players like Joe Harris, Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, etc. through injury or other reasons which have derailed their season.

The unavailability of key players was one of the reasons why James Harden wasn’t happy here and demanded a trade to the Philadelphia 76ers.

Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and Joe Harris have all missed a significant part of the season which is why the Nets find themselves struggling at the 8th seed in the East.

The Brooklyn Nets were regarded as the favorites to win the title this season and are still the favorites to win it all despite all these injuries to their star players which will now require a mammoth effort from them to reach their destiny.

Joe Harris who is a key piece in this team as he is the knockdowns shooter, suffered an ankle injury earlier this season and was required to go through surgery.

His rehab didn’t show any progress which has derailed his comeback and he will probably miss the rest of the season which is a massive blow for the Nets.

Joe Harris will go through a season ending Second surgery.

The Brooklyn Nets General Manager Sean Marks gave an update on Joe Harris and said, “We all feel terrible for Joe, We all know just how much he means to this group, but again, he’ll be on the sideline cheering us on. That’s a big role unto itself, and there’s nobody more fitting to do that than Joe.”

Joe Harris missing the rest of the season is a big blow to the Nets but they have Seth Curry now who can play a similar role and can guide this team in the absence of Joe Harris.

It will be interesting to see how the Brooklyn Nets led by Kevin Durant face the challenges ahead of them in order to make a run for the championship.
