Cade Cunningham led the way for the Detroit Pistons to a big win against the Philadelphia 76ers
The Philadelphia 76ers suffered a shocking defeat against the Detroit Pistons where they lost by a score of 94-102 in which they were able to just score 40 points in the second half of the game. This was a very disappointing result for the Philadelphia 76ers as they have championship aspirations this season and these kinds of performances won’t lead them anywhere.
Cade Cunningham led the way for the Detroit Pistons as he scored 27 points while also recording 6 assists where he shot 12/20 from the field which was one of the biggest reasons why they were able to win this game and cause a huge upset.
Cade Cunningham is currently fighting for the rookie of the year award where his main competitors are Evan Mobley and Scottie Barnes. After a slow start to his career in the NBA, Cunningham has been absolutely balling recently and has made this Pistons team a tough team to go up against.
If he continues this run of form, he might very well be awarded the Rookie of the Year Award, which has been his main goal for this season since getting drafted.
James Harden continues to disappoint for the Philadelphia 76ers
Since his arrival at Philadelphia, expectations were very high for both James Harden and this Philly team. Although we have seen glimpses of greatness from Harden during his time so far in Philadelphia, there is no denying the fact that he has lacked consistency a lot which has been costing the team.
In the match against the Detroit Pistons, Harden went ice-cold in the 2nd half of the game as he just scored 4 points and shot 1/8 from the field which was one of the biggest reasons why the 76ers lost this game.
Joel Embiid is continuously putting up historic numbers but he isn’t getting the help from his teammates which might be very costly for the 76ers come playoff time as anything short of a trip to the NBA Finals for this team might cause a huge blowup around the franchise.
