Charles Barkley was invited on a show on TBS hosted by Conan. Conan even said that he has heard, Charles is famous around players and celebrities as a generous tipper. He was asked if he could remember a time when he regretted tipping someone a huge amount.
The 11-time All-Star Charles Barkley began his answer, “I think it’s important when you’re successful. The waiters, the waitresses, the blackjack dealers. I think it’s important. They work extremely hard; they don’t get a great salary. I think the more successful you are, the more you should tip. I truly believe that.”
Barkley added, “I’ve never went overboard. I’ve tipped $25,000 before. I won about $700,000, I was playing blackjack. I probably should have tipped more, to be honest. But I thought that was pretty generous because when you lose money, they don’t give you any back.”

Recently on “SiriusXM NBA radio, Charles Barkley could not control his frustration from players missing out on games naming ‘load management’ as an excuse. He said the owners will not let players earn $50 million a year and be on the bench for half the season.
“I think it’s going to be very interesting in the next CBA because billionaires always win against millionaires. It’s embarrassing for the NBA. I cannot wait for these owners to put their foot in their a**es in this next CBA.”
“These dudes gonna do something to these players. They gonna be like wait a minute you can’t make $50 million and not play half the season, okay? Because now you’re really just slapping me in my face and taking my check twice a month.”
