Chet Holmgreen and Josh Giddey continue to impress in the Summer League as OKC rack up another win.
The Oklahoma City Thunder continued their impressive run in the summer league as they racked up another win against the Memphis Grizzlies. The young stars of OKC are shining bright, and the future is looking good for them.
Josh Giddey, who had a stellar season last year, is also playing in the Summer League and is playing quite well for his team. Rookie Chet Holmgreen is living up to the hype and impressed a lot in his first game for OKC.
Chet wasn’t as effective on the scoring side against Memphis, but he still played well and racked up a double-double. He will look to get better, and still, there is a lot of time left for him to get himself ready for the regular season, where all eyes will be on him.
The highly anticipated Summer League debut of Chet Holmgreen, the second overall choice in this year’s NBA Draft, was made when the Oklahoma City Thunder went against the Utah Jazz. He disproved a lot of assumptions with just one game.
Chet finished with 23 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 blocks. He also had one steal and four assists. He also made four three-pointers, and he simply controlled the game from start to finish.
He surpassed the previous high for blocks made in a single summer league. In the next games, he stated that he will try to shatter it once more.
